Tim Regan is a graduate student in Clinical Psychology at Texas A&M. His research interests focus on executive-control mechanisms underlying substance abuse (e.g. impulsivity, reward-related learning), explaining substance use disorder comorbidities (e.g. ADHD), and identifying individuals at risk of developing alcohol use disorders, especially adolescents. His research on media influences explores the impact of new media on attention and risk, with a specific focus on developing new strategies for utilizing gaming and other immersive technologies to disrupt substance use and abuse and to promote healthier decision making.
